A weekend exploring painting at a large scale, learning how to work up from small sketches / images to a painting that is bigger that you! Working large is really exciting, but can feel challenging. We will get past those barriers to create something expansive and ambitious. Alternatively, you may already have a project in mind but don’t have the space to do it. Our upstairs painting studio has tons of wall space and floor space, and is full of natural light, a great place to develop a large painting on canvas, paper, or another surface.

What to bring:
I recommend bringing acrylic paints as they dry quickly, or you may want to use a combination of mixed media. Bring ideas and inspiration, which could be sketches, photos, images, or just your imagination. We can also provide some paints and brushes, and acrylic medium and linseed oil.
